The  enemy of cholesterol

The Red Rice Yeast is made of a fungus (Monascus purpureus) raised on rice. By fermentation, this microorganism synthesizes a characteristic red pigment which explains the origin of its name.

 

 

The Red Rice yeast contains monacolin K(or lovastatin), a natural statin.  Statins are substances that inhibit the hepatic synthesis of cholesterol. 

 

 

 

 

 

Direction for use : 1 single-dose at midday lunch. Shake before use.

 

Daily portion :
Red Rice Yeast : 600 mg ; Lovastatin : 9,6 mg.

 

Ingredients :
Agave syrup, extract of Red Rice yeast 1,6% lovastatin, Citric acid, raspberry flavour, potassium sorbate, water Sufficient quantity for 10 ml.
